French Bistro. Located on Montauk Highway, just west of Bridgehampton Common, on the same side of the Highway (previously at this location: The Woodshed Restaurant). Open all year for dinner from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm weekdays and from 6:00 to midnight on weekends. MC, V, Diners. Entree price range: $16.00 to $22.00. Casual dress. Reservations accepted but not required; full liquor license; large sit-down bar. No outdoor dining. Take-out orders available.

French. Casual dress. Unfortunately, this restaurant should be skipped. Although the food is acceptable, the service is sloppy and often rude. Pierre's has the distinction of being the most complained about on the Hamptons Web. Wait staff is terribly trained and customer satisfaction is not a goal of either the management or the wait staff. Very expensive for what you receive. To paraphrase an old saying: "This is my second favorite restaurant in the Hamptons. My favorite is all the others."
